There's a lot of new music out today, but here's a dark horse for your Friday: Oklahoma City-based indie trio The Ivy just released their new single and it's definitely a keeper.

Their new song "Give Me a Try" arrived today and it's absolutely infectious, following their 2018 single "Better in My Head" and showcasing a level of earnest, low-frills pop like that of fellow Variance favorite LANY, with whom The Ivy previously shared a stage.

The Ivy is a culmination of three music fans who first met at music school and local concerts before linking up to make music of their own together. According to the band, the new track is "the most exciting song we’ve ever worked on."
