With a new EP coming next month, Nuela Charles is offering up a preview with her explosive new single "Got It Bad."

The soulful, simply dazzling new cut is premiering today on Variance, a day before the song's official release on Friday. It serves as the second single from the Canadian singer's upcoming Melt EP, out on Nov. 8.

"This song is my way of saying that as an artist, I strive to stay true to myself; I’ll never not create," she says of the new track. "It’s the ultimate release and sometimes, you just have to give in to that feeling."

"Got It Bad" follows Charles' standout single "Coming for You," which was featured on Jane the Virgin, as well as her Juno Award-nominated Distant Danger EP.
