After teasing a Missy Elliott collaboration earlier this week, Lizzo has come through with a new track called "Tempo," featuring the rap queen.

The new song is from Lizzo's upcoming album Cuz I Love You, which, as we previously reported, is out on April 19. According to the singer, she reached out to Elliott after thinking the track sounded like it was "obviously" missing a Missy feature. 

"'I hope she blesses me with a verse,'" she recalled thinking, discussing the new music today on Beats 1 radio. "You never know. You send it to your idols, you never know if they gonna send it back."
