Some fans attending a NBA All-Star Weekend show in Los Angeles on Saturday got a surprise appearance from Kanye West.

The rapper, who has laid relatively low for the past year, joined Kid Cudi on stage at the adidas 747 Warehouse show to perform "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1," from West's 2016 album The Life of Pablo. It was the second time Ye has appeared unexpectedly with Cudi, following a surprise showing at the latter's Chicago concert back in November.

Perhaps not coincidentally, this past week marked two years since the release of Pablo. And while he hasn't explicitly made mention of his new music, he has been in and out of the studio in recent months, with some signs pointing to a new album, perhaps as soon as this year.

As we previously mentioned, there have also been rumors of a possible new G.O.O.D. Music project as well as a joint Ye and Cudi album
