Drake on Wednesday night followed his successful stint hosting Saturday Night Live by taking the reins at the 2014 ESPYs.

The much-hyped event, referred to by some in the past as a "colossal waste of money," saw Drizzy getting in some jabs at himself, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Richard Sherman, Michael Crabtree, Donald Sterling, the Washington Redskins and more.

He also made clear he and Chris Brown are on good terms now in a surgery sketch featuring Breezy and Blake Griffin.

Later in the show, he took a very upfront shot at Macklemore when he gave Durant a shout out during a comedic song titled "Honorable Mention," saying, "Real talent doesn't always win championships like real music doesn't always win GRAMMYs," at which point a picture of the "Thrift Shop" rapper holding his GRAMMYs appeared onscreen.

Over the course of "Honorable Mention" and another song "Side Pieces" (which he performed with Brian McKnight), Drake continued to comfort those sports figures who came in second, including America, for being late to the "soccer" party thanks to this year's World Cup.

He also took a moment to dedicate a poem to Tulsa Shock's Skylar Diggins—with whom he's previously enjoyed flirting on Instagram. It earned him a kiss on the forehead.
