HBO on Monday released a very brief teaser for Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine's upcoming documentary The Defiant Ones.

The docu-series, which is directed by Allen Hughes, premieres July 9 on HBO. It will look at the two music industry moguls' relationship, which goes back 25 years. Dre not only released The Chronic through Interscope Records while Iovine was the label head, but they also teamed up for the Beats by Dre headphones, which they sold to Apple in 2014 and have since become part of the tech giant, working together on Beats 1 radio and other projects.

The four-part series is said to follow the stories of both men, featuring interviews with both of them as well as the artists they influenced.
