As the late night television battles have continued into October, James Corden's Late Late Show presented a creative plot twist by recruiting guests Julianne Moore and John Stamos for a soap opera with dialogue comprised only of Taylor Swift lyrics.

Considering much of Swift's songs consist of breakup and relationship-inspired material, it was an easy yet clever move for Corden, who played Moore's estranged lover.

"I knew you were trouble when you walked in," Moore tells Corden after he enters the room she's in. Seconds later, his phone rings. "Oh my god! Who is she?" the actress inquires as she prepares to pour herself a drink, declaring: "I get drunk on jealousy!"

Despite Corden's pleas, Moore finally informs him they "are never, ever, ever getting back together." But fortunately, a dramatic entrance from Stamos saves the day.
