And now we know. Travis Scott's new album Astroworld is coming this Friday.

He confirmed the news Monday on Twitter after days of teasing. Over the weekend, giant gold heads in Scott's likeness appeared over Los Angeles' Amoeba Music and Minute Maid Park in Houston, the latter of which is the rapper's hometown. As of today, another had surfaced over Manhattan's Hard Rock Cafe.

Fans have known the album would likely be coming soon. Earlier this month, Scott hit the studio with a handful of artists putting finishing touches on the record. Meanwhile, producer Mike Dean has been sharing studio updates for weeks, having also teased the Aug. 3 release over the weekend.
