Kanye West may have had a bit of a health scare during a round of performances in Australia.

According to Woman's Day magazine, the Yeezus rapper was on Wednesday taken to Melbourne’s Epworth Hospital in Richmond for an unexpected MRI.

A witness commented: "My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area ... Everyone was massively panicked, and they were very nervous about making sure the area was completely clear."

TMZ has subsequently reported that West was suffering from a migraine after playing some pre-show basketball. His symptoms are said to have been mild.

He eventually performed Wednesday night at Rod Laver Arena and he is set for an additional three more shows in Australia, including a final show on Monday in Brisbane.

At press time, a rep for West had yet to comment on the report.
