Emerging Brooklyn duo Bathe just released their new single "Sundress," and my, my, my—it's very good.

Accompanied by a perfect set of visuals, directed by Morian Thomas, the song is like a capsule of summer, compressed into a brilliant three and a half minutes of spellbinding goodness. It has an energy at times reminiscent of the likes of Twin Shadow or How to Dress Well, with brief flickers of Miguel's piercing vocal magic.

In the video, a group of friends is seen in what appears to be a simple trip to the beach. But it eventually becomes clear things are not as they appear, as the visual is actually a figment of a third party's imagination, a mirage configured to replace the connections they've lost.
