In these interesting times as many of us are trying to distract ourselves and keep our minds off disastrous headlines, plenty of music artists are thankfully diving into their craft and churning out great new material.

One such artist is emerging music-maker Isaiah Mostafa, a Berkeley-based singer-producer who has taken on the ambitious project of releasing 37 singles in 37 weeks as an offering to his loved ones and the world in this moment of uncertainty.

Today, he is sharing his ninth installment with "Daffodil," which is premiering on Variance. It also happens to be his first track accompanied by a video

“I was sleeping on myself and playing small, so now I’m releasing a new song every Monday for 37 weeks," says Mostafa. "Produced, mixed, mastered, performed, recorded and cover art drawn by me. All in hopes to explore my sound, message and purpose—to challenge myself to have healthy discipline, to share my experience and love to those who need it, and to engage with and serve my community more.
