As Younger Hunger continues their steady rise, the emerging California outfit has shared a new song called "Elmer."

The trio's new single arrived Friday and the accompanying video is also premiering today on Variance, a clip shot through the confines of quarantine, telling the story of the song's lyrics, which are about catching feelings for someone, yet it's told with a keen level of innocence.

"'Elmer' is a song about a pair of people cheating on their partners with each other, and the feelings and confusions that come along with it," the group says of the new track. "It was written loosely around the plot of Brokeback Mountain."

The new track is the latest from the rising trio, whose recent genre-spanning collection of songs includes "YUNG," "Goodbye Bye Bye" and "Second Best."
