Tidal has pledged to charter a cargo plane to dispatch 200,000 pounds of supplies to Puerto Rico.

The streaming service, co-owned by Jay-Z and a number of other A-list musicians, is partnering with Fat Joe, Romeo Santos and Angie Martinez as well as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort to send items such as batteries, flashlights, portable lanterns, diapers, baby wipes, cases of water and feminine hygiene products.

"My heart goes out to every single individual that has suffered as a result of [Hurricane Maria]," Fat Joe said in a statement. "Watching from the sidelines has been heartbreaking. Let’s fill that plane and help our brothers and sisters! Even the smallest contribution will go a long way."

The news follows Tidal's recent announcement that its upcoming benefit concert on Oct. 17 will feature performances from Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B and others. All proceeds will go to hurricane and earthquake recovery efforts.

As we previously reported, Lopez recently made a $1 million personal donation to Puerto Rican recovery, while she and ex-husband Marc Anthony have teamed up for a massive, celebrity-backed initiative to rush aid to the island.

Tidal plans to have the plane filled by Oct. 5. For those in New York, 19 drop-off locations have been set up. For those outside of the city, click here to learn more about how to help.
