Emerging pop-rock outfit ROMES took a break during the first day of Austin City Limits Music Festival to chat with Variance about their busy fall.

The Irish-Canadian four-piece happened to release their self-titled debut album on Friday, the same day of our interview. They talked about the excitement of finally putting the record out as well touring with MUTEMATH, whose music seems to have influenced some of the band's own material.

ROMES is made up of singer Jacob Alexander, drummer Nicolas Amadeus, bassist Andrew Keyes and guitarist James Tebbitt. They're currently on tour and the dates can be seen here.
