As part of the Chris Martin-curated Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, the Coldplay frontman was joined on stage by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

The two offered live renditions of Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" as well as Pearl Jam's own "Nothingman and Patti Smith's "People Have the Power."

The annual event, which took place at New York's Central Park, also featured performances from the likes of Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer, Usher, Ellie Goulding and others.
