With only days to go until the start of SXSW in Austin, MTV has confirmed A$AP Rocky will host its annual Woodies ceremony at the fest.

Rather than distributing trophies, however, the event will instead focus on 10 rising music acts expected to have a big year, taking on the title of "MTV Woodies/10 for 16."

"This is all about shedding light on the music of this generation, the love and bond between different artists," said Rocky, who won a Woodie award for his Skrillex collaboration "Wild for the Night."

This year's Woodies are set for March 16 in Austin, with the 10 selected rising acts as well as performers set to be announced at a later date.
