As the announcement of Coachella's 2016 lineup approaches, it's unofficially official that LCD Soundsystem will be among the headliners this coming year.

While rumors sprouted up last week, The New York Times reported Wednesday evening the James Murphy-led outfit will reunite to perform the April fest in Indio, California, four years after disbanding with a farewell performance at Madison Square Garden.

This latest news comes only a day after confirmation that Guns N' Roses will reunite this year at Coachella, which has become a hub for musical reunions.

Representatives for either bands have yet to comment, but Coachella's lineup is expected to be revealed in early January, with the two-weekend fest set for April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California.
