Outside Lands Music Festival made a major update to its 2024 lineup on Thursday.

After previously announcing Tyler, the Creator would headline Saturday, Aug. 10, the San Francisco fest revealed Tyler will no longer appear on the lineup and will be replaced by Sabrina Carpenter, whose star in the pop world continues to rise this year as she also announced a North American tour coinciding with her upcoming album Short n' Sweet.

Tyler, who has also canceled his headlining performance at Lollapalooza, wrote on social media: “I hate saying this but i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands. i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. That is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. love."

For Outside Lands, its lineup still boasts performances from The Killers, Sturgill Simpson, a country set from Post Malone, Chappell Roan, Daniel Caesar, Young the Giant, Reneé Rapp, Kaytranada, The Postal Service, Teddy Swims, Victoria Monét, Killer Mike, Idris Elba, ScHoolboy Q, Jungle, Kevin Abstract and more.

This year's Outside Lands is set for Aug. 9-11 at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Along with additional performances from the likes of Charley Crockett, Men I Trust, Ben Howard, Romy, Badbadnotgood, Strfkr, Corinne Bailey Rae and Snakehips, attendees will also be able to experience Taste of the Bay Area, showcasing some of the area's best eateries, and Grass Lands, the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival.
