As festival season continues like it's pre-Covid days again, Bonnaroo has even more reason to celebrate.

The Manchester, Tennessee fest returned this year for the first time since 2019, which seems like a lifetime ago now. It was supposed to return in 2021, as did a number of other fellow big players such as Lollapalooza and Governors Ball. But unlike in 2020, when the global Covid outbreak forced most festivals to abruptly scrap their events, it was bad weather in 2021 which prompted a last-minute cancellation for Roo.

The fest had no such bad luck this year, as the likes of J. Cole, Machine Gun Kelly, Bleachers (and a Jack Antonoff Superjam) as well as The Chicks, CHVRCHES, The War on Drugs, LANY, Roddy Ricch, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Nicks and 21 Savage welcomed fans back to the farm.
