Charles Reagan Hackleman for Lollapalooza

Of the latest signs that live music is indeed, truly back, and life is returning to normal, Lollapalooza is officially a go this summer.

Organizers of the Chicago fest announced the 2021 lineup on Wednesday, with Foo Fighters; Tyler, the Creator; Miley Cyrus; DaBaby; Megan Thee Stallion; and Journey among the headliners and top performers. Tickets are on sale today at 12 p.m. CST.

The news follows a number of American festivals announcing their 2021 lineups, with Lolla arguably being the biggest of them all. Like pretty much every festival last year, Lolla scrapped its 2020 event because of the pandemic. And while fests such as Bonnaroo and Governors Ball moved their 2021 dates from their usual June slots to September, even as recently as last week, Lolla's 2021 plans remained in question.

On Tuesday, festival organizers confirmed the return of Lollapalooza ahead of the lineup announcement. Along with teasing the news, they confirmed all attendees will be required to either be fully COVID-19 vaccinated or show a negative COVID-19 test obtained within 24 hours of attending the festival each day. Addition entry details will be revealed in early July.
