Serving as a highlight of this New Music Friday, Sir Sly has returned, with a shiny new single "High."

Coming three years after the trio's debut album You Haunt Me, the might new cut is the first from the band's forthcoming sophomore album, which doesn't yet have a release date.

Instrumentalist Hayden Coplen describes the record as "lived-in, loose, and against all odds, a celebration," while frontman Landon Jacobs calls "High" an "upbeat anthem about ego death."

While the song is certainly bigger and more pop-friendly than some of Sir Sly's previous material, it still maintains a cloudy, ominous core, making for an instant favorite.
