Before they kick off a short run of shows this weekend, Sebu Simonian and Ryan Merchant (aka Capital Cities) are back with new music in the form of their new single "Vowels."

It's the duo's first music in over two years, following their 2013 debut album In A Tidal Wave Of Mystery, which included the massive hit "Safe and Sound."

"When you can't express yourself with words, sometimes you just want to scream to get it all out," Simonian said of the track, which includes a wordless hook. "You need vowels to do that!"
