After sharing his debut single "Cold War" back in September, up-and-coming singer-producer Josh Karpeh (aka Cautious Clay) has shared a video for the simmering track.

The clip, which the Brooklyn newcomer co-directed alongside Alex Gallitano, arrived Monday. It sees the song's lyrics seemingly brought to life, as Karpeh appears to be in a one-sided relationship because of a lack of communication and interaction, thanks largely to an overconsumption of technology, apps and the like.

“A lot of times, love for someone begets patience and/or complacency, but not the other way around,” the singer told Variance about the track when it was first released. “That’s why catching feelings is simultaneously uplifting and disruptive to personal identity for many people.”

"Cold War" is from Cautious Clay's new Blood Type EP, which is out now.
