British singer-songwriter Leon Else is making his own run at an international rise with the video for his new single "River Full of Liquor."

The steamy clip finds the 25-year-old surrounded by, as the song's lyrics suggest, "one girl, two girl, three girl, four." It brilliantly compliments the track, which centers on the struggle of unhealthy but tantalizing relationships.

It's the kind of savvy, emotional lyricism one would expect from Lana Del Rey or James Blake. Except while their music might get you through a broken heart, "River Full of Liquor" is more like the soundtrack to the weekend after a breakup, when you meet some random guy or girl you'd never take home to mom at the club and you end up in the back seat of a Kia Sorento.

Don't let this guy's seemingly innocent face fool you; his fiery, soulful sound could soon put him on the heels of the Timberlakes and Thickes of the world.

Else's debut EP, River Full of Liquor, arrives on July 8. His Danny Gold-directed video for the title track can be seen below.
