Craig Robinson and Adam Scott are teaming up again, this time to marquee Ghosted, a new comedy pilot for Fox.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Office vet Robinson and Parks and Recreation alum Scott, both of whom appeared in last year's Hot Tub Time Machine 2, will co-star and co-executive produce the project.

The single-camera effort is described as a comedic take on fellow Fox title The X-Files, with Robinson as Leroy Wright, a "cynical, hilarious skeptic" and Scott as Max Allison, a "genius 'true believer' in the paranormal."

Scott's character is soon recruited by the Underground Investigative Service to look into some ongoing "unexplained" activity in Los Angeles, all while another, much larger threat looms with the potential to wipe out the human race.

While Scott has focused mostly on film since Parks and Recreation ended last year, he will appear in HBO's upcoming limited series Big Little Lies. Robinson, who has had a significant arc on the second season of USA Network's Mr. Robot, is set to host Spike's forthcoming Caraoke Showdown series.
