Parks and Recreation surged in its series finale on Tuesday, which aired after a new episode of The Voice.

The hour-long farewell, while still weak against its competition on other networks, gave the beloved comedy its highest viewership since May 2011 with 4.2 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

The Pawnee ensemble saw a 45% increase from last week's ratings, with numbers certain to increase in Live+7 Day DVR viewing.
