Following news earlier this month that veterans Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah are leaving Saturday Night Live, the long-running sketch show appears to have finalized cast contracts for the upcoming 42nd season.

According to Splitsider, the remaining players will all return for the new season. That roster includes Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Leslie Jones, Aidy Bryant, Beck Bennett, Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, Sasheer Zamata, Pete Davison, Kyle Mooney and of course, Kenan Thompson.

SNL executive producer Lorne Michaels had confirmed earlier this summer both Colin Jost and Michael Che will return to co-anchor "Weekend Update."

As of this writing, SNL has yet to announce its new hires for next season. But as we previously reported, last year's lone freshman Jon Rudnitsky did not have his contract renewed and will not be returning.

Season 42 is expected to premiere late next month, although a firm start date hasn't been confirmed.
