Dan Vidmar's Shy Girls evolution continues. He has just released a swanky new cut titled "This Is Your World," which leans heavily on jazz influences and embraces the fuzzy blemishes of decades ago.

The new song comes as Shy Girls has confirmed his sophomore album Bird on the Wing is definitely on the way—this spring, in fact, video Keep Cool Projects/RCA Records.

To make it even more official, he has also announced plans for a spring tour starting in April, perhaps an indication of a timeframe for the album's release. Tickets for the trek go on sale tomorrow (Jan. 18).
