As Steven A. Clark prepares to release his new album next week, he has shared a dreamy new offering in the form of "On and On."

The whimsical new cut arrived Friday, and it somehow sounds perfectly new and bright while also brimming with nostalgic, '80s-reminiscent vibes, as if Peter Gabriel and Miguel got together and made some sweet, sexy jams.

"'On and On' is about a my experience trying to force a relationship and change who I was to trying to be what someone else needed thinking they'd stick around," says Clark about the new song. "Then finally realizing that I was only making things worse and it was time time to let go."

His new album Where Neon Goes to Die is out on Sept. 7. It includes his previous standout "Feel This Way," for which he released a video earlier this month.

As we previously mentioned, Clark will also be hitting the road supporting Chromeo on their fall tour.
