While it's not a full album, Chance the Rapper is making up for any confusion with a surge of new music, dropping not one but four new tracks on Wednesday night.

All four songs, “Work Out,” “Wala Cam,” “I Might Need Security” and “65th & Ingleside," arrived tonight on streaming platforms. The nice new bundle comes after a misleading update via an interview earlier this week with the Chicago Tribune, which claimed Chance would be releasing a new full-length album in a matter of days.

Although such a project isn't coming as soon as fans might have liked, Chance took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm he is hard at work in the studio. His upcoming project would mark his first since Coloring Book, which was Variance's 2016 Album of the Year.

The timing of the new music is definitely not a coincidence, as Chance is headlining a concert this Saturday in Chicago to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics.

In the Tribune interview, Chance also added some details about a separate project he is working on with Kanye West, which the two artists began working on in Wyoming, where West's own new album Ye was crafted.

“I don’t know of a timeline on it yet, the trajectory of it," Chance said of his work with West. "But he’s coming [to Chicago] to work on it some more. We’ve just started making it, but I don’t want to manipulate the situation and impose any time frame, because that can hinder you.”

As we previously noted, Chance also revealed late last month he is working with Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) on their long-discussed collaborative album. "We’ve got six songs that are all fire," he said of his work with Glover. "But I think the album is going to be more than 14 songs."
