Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) is releasing a new album—tonight.

The singer on Thursday afternoon shared artwork for something called My Dear Melancholy, which Rolling Stone has since confirmed is his new album. He simply captioned the image with the word "tonight," warning of a midnight release.

Following initial reports of a possible surprise album release tonight, Billboard is also reporting The Weeknd is indeed releasing a new full-length project tonight (technically Friday).

Tesfaye had been teasing new music for weeks and on Feb. 22 posted a studio photo of a notebook with the words "My Dear Melancholy" written on it. He is also scheduled to headline a number of festivals this year, including Lollapalooza, the most recent confirmation.

Update: The new project, which is actually a six-song EP, arrived late Thursday night. Listen to it here.
