Emerging Long Beach artist W I L L . is kicking off the new week with new music.

The 22-year-old vocalist just released his debut single "The Way," featuring Southern California native Ruby Danielle. It's an infectious offering, which also happens to be a preview of W I L L .'s upcoming debut Welcome to Earth EP.

Out on Feb. 23, the five-song effort is actually a bit of a concept project, telling the story of an extra terrestrial arriving on earth and experiencing life through W I L L ., who tells the story from a first-person perspective.

As for "The Way," it's a buoyant cut, flush with a nostalgic sound, as two lovers navigate a complicated relationship, wishing they could undo some of their past.
