SG Lewis has your weekend covered.

The songwriter-producer on Friday released a velvety new single called "Aura," featuring rising U.K. singer-songwriter J Warner. The enamoring track is from Lewis' upcoming three-part album (Dusk, Dark and Dawn), which is expected to be unveiled throughout the next year.

Explaining "Aura" is from the Dusk phase, Lewis says the upcoming project is inspired by one night out, reflected through a series of songs. The first is said to be influenced by disco, West Coast hip-hop and '80s electro sounds. 

"Disco has always had the association of the start of a night for me," Lewis said of the new material. "I spent a lot a time as a resident DJ in clubs and disco was always that magnetic genre, always brought people onto the dance floor ... Dusk is the warm-up for the heavier, darker things to come."
