Newcomer Brett Castro is heading into the new year with a brand new single, his first in fact

The 21-year-old New York singer has released his debut track called "Picture Perfect," a delicate offering vividly influenced by the likes of Francis and the Lights and Bon Iver, both of whom Castro counts amongst his inspiration.

"I like to make the music a whole, immersive, experience," Castro tells Variance of the newly released song. "I think a lot about painting pictures with the sounds, what color each sound has, what feeling it has, and to use all those sounds to make each song its own little world."

"Picture Perfect" sees Castro's flush vocals soaring over tender synths, giving listeners a welcome introduction to the multi-instrumentalist, who also self-produced the track.
