Nashville-based producer Ruga has released a new single called "Chips," taking the mic as a performer after usually being the one behind the scenes.

Also switching it up, the track is produced by frequent collaborator Brandyn Kaine, the emcee-vocalist who's previously released over 20 tracks produced by Ruga. It's actually Kaine's debut in the producer role. The song is available through their independent label Varce City.

The satiny new cut finds Ruga recounting his pursuit of money and success. "Lately I’ve been only chasing chips / Stack ‘em up on the next / Yo count ‘em quick," he sings, continuing: "I been talking to my ex / She want the ring (nah nah) / She see me when I’m flexing with my clique."
