Hundred Waters are ready to release their new album. And they've shared the first single.
The Florida trio on Wednesday released their new single "Blanket Me," a gripping first preview of the upcoming record, titled Communicating, which will arrive Sept. 14 on OWSLA and will mark their first full-length since 2014's The Moon Rang Like a Bell.
The album is described as a very personal one, noting bandmates Nicole Miglis and Trayer Tryon's relationship as a driving force. According to a press release, the new material "raises questions of romantic and non-romantic love, self-realization, growing apart and finding understanding."
Acknowledging the album is about a "breakup," Miglis said, "It starts with a need for independence and it ends with an ‘all better,’ like we did it: We learned, we loved, we separated, and now it’s time for the next chapter."
