Los Angeles artist Saro is going into the weekend with a moody new offering, "Sky Doesn't Blue."

The emotional track is the first preview of his upcoming sophomore EP. And while its lyrical inspiration may be rather grim, the song is undeniably infectious.

"I wrote 'Sky Doesn't Blue' in the shower," the singer said of the new cut. "It’s dedicated to the inevitable death of novelty. How as you get older, things get harder, naïveté fades, and colors begin to dull. There's no love like the first love, and the sky will never be as blue as it once was."

The song comes as Saro will be performing Saturday at Brooklyn's Northside Festival and on Wednesday, June 14, at the Echo in Los Angeles.
