With the new Gorillaz album Humanz coming later this month, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's animated outfit has released another new song, this time "Let Me Out," featuring Mavis Staples and Pusha T.

The ominous cut sees Staples and Pusha's vocals flowing together rather seamlessly, marking the fifth preview of the record, which is out on April 28.

In a Beats 1 interview Thursday with Zane Lowe, Pusha said he and Albarn started talking a year ago to "conceptualize the album," with Albarn having described the record as "a party for the end of the world, like if Trump were to win."

Pusha said he "didn’t even want to think about" that possibility. But when it happened, he thought, "'Wait a minute.' And then I started wondering like, 'What type of crystal ball did this guy have?'"

He noted that while he's still finishing up his own album, he has "already committed to at least five" shows with Gorillaz as they promote Humanz. He said fans could expect to see him "anytime that my schedule permits."
