Just days after his spectacular debut at SXSW, British singer Jacob Banks has released the studio version of his stirring track "Chainsmoking," which was a part of his live set.

According to Banks, the song is about "understanding that shit may be hard, but we push on any way," he said, noting how it "mixes old and new vibes, which is done across the EP in different colors.”

"Chainsmoking" is the latest preview of his The Boy Who Cried Freedom EP, which is out next month.
