As emerging crooner James Scott continues his rise, he's released a delicate new track "Azure."

The hypnotic offering was inspired in part by the passing of someone close to Scott's friend and collaborator Viko, who produced the song. "At the moment, life felt still again, noticing [one's] mortality, but being grateful to see another day," the singer said of the track, noting it's about "growth, a second chance at love and noticing your love for someone through life and its madness."

The song serves as a preview of Scott's forthcoming Moon Child project.
