Drake says he's releasing a new project—or "playlist"—called More Life this December.

Careful to distinguish that he's not referring to it as a "mixtape" (a term which become loosely interpreted in recent years), Drizzy shared the news Sunday afternoon during a special birthday episode of his OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1.

The Toronto emcee back in April released his album Views, which ultimately spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. charts.

Ahead of his 30th birthday on Monday, Drake also shared the artwork for More Life, which can be seen below. He said his intention with the new release is to “provide a soundtrack to your life.”

Update: Drake has also released three new songs, "Two Birds One Stone"; "Sneakin," featuring 21 Savage; "Fake Love" and a remix of British rapper Dave's "Wanna Know." Listen to the tracks here as they become available.
