Summer might be coming to an end, but no one told JAHKOY, who on Thursday released his new single "California Heaven."

The Toronto native's breezy cut also gets a hefty lift from ScHoolboy Q, who's featured on the track, which is a preview of JAHKOY's forthcoming Foreign Water EP.

According to JAHKOY, who is now based in Los Angeles, he "was living with barely any money, couch surfing and staying in cheap motels" when he first ventured to California. "While discovering the environment, I found myself actually finding my musical purpose. That to me was heaven," he said.

It's a perfect jam and the latest solid entry from an artist on the rise.
