British trio Years & Years have broken their musical silence with the release of their new song "Meteorite," which arrived Tuesday.

The glimmering cut is the band's first since the release of last year's debut album Communion and it serves as their contribution to the soundtrack for Bridget Jones's Baby, with both the film and soundtrack out this Friday (Sept. 16).

"We wanted to make something unashamedly disco and upbeat," frontman Olly Alexander said of the track, adding: "If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget—a wanton sex goddess with a very bad man between her thighs."
