After teasing a new album is on the way, Wilco on Tuesday confirmed their new record Schmilco will arrive on Sept. 9.

Additionally, they released a new track called "If I Ever Was a Child," which follows their previously released song "Locator."

Both will appear on record, with "Child" being available now as an instant download for those who pre-order the full LP, which comes just a year after the band's surprise release Star Wars, one of Variance's 50 Best Albums of 2015.
