Weezer has gone from thanking God for girls to gushing over the United States in their surprise, patriotic new song "I Love the USA," which was released Thursday.

The track was recorded in celebration of NASA's Juno mission, which is expected to put an unmanned probe in Jupiter's orbit on the night of July 4, which also happens to be Independence Day in America.

According to Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo, Apple and NASA both reached out directly to request a song.
