Glasgow outfit PRIDES returned Monday with their enticing new song "Rome," the first of their own new material since releasing their debut album The Way Back Up last year.

As we previously mentioned, PRIDES recently collaborated with British producer Draper on his new single "Break Over You," but this marks a new chapter for the band, which is now a duo.

According to a message on the band's Twitter account today, drummer Lewis Gardiner is still producing their new material but he won't technically be part of the group or be playing with them live, leaving just vocalist-keyboardiest Stewart Brock and multi-instrumentalist Callum Wiseman.

Brock describes "Rome" as a "plea," begging a lover "to stay, to try, to forgive, to work towards something bigger and better."

Hear "Rome" below.
