As he heads out on tour this week with NEEDTOBREATHE, independent singer-songwriter Matthew Mayfield is making his latest album available as a free download via NoiseTrade. A Banquet For Ghosts, Mayfield's masterful second full-length album, was helmed by Grammy-nominated producer Paul Moak (Martha Wainwright, Mat Kearney), and it was fan-funded by way of Kickstarter.

Since its release in May, Banquet has landed at No. 15 on Billboard's Heatseakers chart, No. 13 on the Folk charts and No. 2 on iTunes' Singer/Songwriter chart. Mayfield has toured recently with The Civil Wars, Switchfoot and Matthew Perryman Jones, among others. This latest round with NEEDTOBREATHE kicks off Tuesday in Springfield, Mo.
