Nashville singer Troy Akers (aka Bandit Heart) has released a heartwarming new track in the form of "Save My World," which is a deeply personal offering written originally from "a place of pain."

"I was trying to make my way out of what I had been holding on to as a refuge for living—namely letting go of someone," Akers said of the song. "However, after my last trip to India, this song became something even more for me. I saw it transform before my eyes and be given to people around me who I had just met; namely, two little boys named Aditya and Abhishek. They became my little brothers. When I came home in November, this song for the record wasn't even next on the list, but because of them, I wanted it to be. They became the reason, it was like letting bygones be bygones with who this record had started out to be for. I was learning what love looked like in an entirely different way."

Akers has also released a live recording of his previous track "Ghost."
