Emerging Toronto-based artist Marc-Antoine Robertson (aka AlphaCub) has released a new single called "Fighting," off his debut EP, which is expected this summer.

Previously part of the now-defunct Canadian outfit Soho Ghetto, Robertson has spent much of the past two years working on his solo music, with the upcoming EP serving as the first preview of his music.

The new track is "about action, it's about doing something, getting bloody and dirty," Robertson said of "Fighting," which is a synth-laced rock cut, gritty yet gleaming. "It's about relationships born out of the realization that nothing will happen unless you find like minded people, take care of each other, and fight for what you love together."

Listen to "Fighting" below and stay tuned for more from AlphaCub.
