Sorry, gang. It looks like SZA is going to need some time off the road.
The singer has withdrawn from the Top Dawg Entertainment Championship Tour for the foreseeable future because of swollen vocal chords, TDE's CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith revealed on Tuesday.
"I got some bad news," he wrote on Instagram, claiming SZA will be off the tour for a "few days" because she needs to "rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage." He said she'll see her doctor again in a few days to reevaluate her condition.
SZA had already missed tour stops in Phoenix and Albuquerque last week. The next dates include shows in Tampa, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Raleigh and Virginia Beach, all of which will presumably be affected.
The rest of the TDE tour lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and more. As for the dates SZA is missing, Tiffith promised to "figure out a way to make it up to you guys."
